"Obvious and coordinated actions  of the government and judiciary against Rustavi 2 damages media pluralism, freedom of expression and of the country"s Euro-Atlantic integration. The recent developments  puts under the danger holding democratic elections in 2016.  Our Western partners have repeatedly called on  the government  to protect political and media pluralism and promote democratic and competitive electoral environment. Georgian Parliament expresses its concern over the direct and indirect pressure on Rustavi2 and other media outlets and demands to stop pressure ,"- is underlined in the statement.
