The draft declaration prepared by the National Movement in connection with Rustavi 2 and facts of media pressure will continue at the plenary session today.
The document, which may be prepared in the form of a resolution, will be voted for today.
The draft declaration says the situation around the media creates a reasonable doubt, that the government, through pressure is trying to limit the political discussions in the Georgian media,putting in danger media pluralism and freedom of expression .
In this regard, the current events, in turn, casts doubt on the legitimacy of the conduct and standards for democratic elections in 2016.
The ruling team strongly disagrees with the text of the decalaration. The heated debate on the document lasted for nearly two hours.
