Politicians respond to Rustavi 2 Director General`s statement.

"Ivanishvili has taken final decision to kill free media, opposition parties with one strike in order to hush down the critically disposed part of the society," - said the chairman of the UNM, Giorgi Gabashvili.

The founder of a new political center, Zurab Japaridze, believes that Gvaramia should name the person who conveyed the threatening messages to him.

Free Democrats believe that a criminal case should be launched on the basis of this statement.

Non-parliamentary opposition stressed that the trial was political. The opposition believes that the Rustavi 2 case has national significance.

Part of politicians are planning to attend today"s trial.
