Levan Zalkaliani, the State Representative in Imereti, and David Bakhtadze, the Mayor of Samtredia, handed keys to newly built houses to 4 homeless and socially vulnerable families.
Previously the mentioned families had resided in dilapidated homes that were “beyond repair”.
55 houses had been built across the region over the past 2 years for the purpose of ensuring new accommodation for families, with construction of an additional 10 houses ongoing. The housing programme, implemented in 5 municipalities in the area, aimed to improve living conditions “for the most in-need families”.
