The ambassadors, who are taking part at the South Caucasus Security Forum and the Ministry of Defense and Security Conference are talking on media freedom in Georgia. The US Ambassador Ian Kelly said the US is carefully watching “Rustavi 2” trials.

“It was many times said that the media pluralism and the possibility that all political parties have access to the media to express their views in the political process are essential and important for the development of democracy. That is why we are carefully observing this process, "- said Ian Kelly.

According to the Estonian ambassador to NATO, it is important for all NATO partners and aspirant countries to prove that they adhere to the law and values.
