Irakli Garibashvili, a leader of coalition Georgian Dream releases a statement . According to him, Georgian Dream  diverges from Gogi Topadze"s announcements.

"We are distancing ourselves from  MP Gogi Topadze"s personal opinion on Rustavi2 and his position over Stalin.

Coalition has a strict position regarding to such fundamental issues and we have announced them publicly.

Freedom of media is essential for us, and we believe that in regard to Rustavi 2 the court"s decision should be impartial .

Our coalition are committed to the European values and understands the soviet past. We are sure that   the European and Euro-Atlantic course - this is the right way, and it is fundamentally different from the regime, in which we have lived for decades.

We are striving for a democratic development and  European family, "- says the statement.
