"Tomorrow Rustavi 5 may be opened very easily,"- said the Prime Minister of Georgia before the sitting of  the  government. He underlined that every citizen in Georgia can open a TV Channel in 10 days and start broadcasting in three days.

" I can not share the criticism, the idea that the government is behind   these processes, or involved in a case of Rustavi 2 . Which government, especially like ours, may be interested in such actions.  No one and even I can not see any rational sense in this. Even theoretically it is useless for everyone- to have aim to seize Rustavi2, when everyone can simply open Rustavi5. On the contrary, we will help. It is  in our interest to open up as much TV channels , news agencies, newspapers, as possible and to tell truth to our citizens.  To get more information. I have criticized some TV companies, this is a normal process. This is typical of a healthy democracy. We hear the criticism and we also have the right to criticize .

The government will not allow closure of any channel artificially . Here we must separate from each other a legal dispute. Everyone has the right to  apply to the court ,- said the Prime Minister.
