During his visit to the United States, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, gave a speech at the Atlantic Council and commented on Rustavi 2 trial.

According to Kvirikashvili, everything will be done to ensure that there is no interferene in the broadcasting policy of media outlets .

Kvirikashvili stated that the main achievement was the independent media and the questions with regard to the media from the foreign partners and friends should not become a reason for impeding country"s Euro-Atlantic integration.
