Another leader of “Lelo”, Badri Japaridze, was sentenced to eight months in prison. The court session ended recently.

The reason for the sentence was his failure to appear before the temporary investigative commission of the Parliament. The maximum sentence was one year, and the article also provided for a fine.

Badri Japaridze did not attend today’s court hearing.
