Traffic resumes on Stepantsminda-Larsi road section

Vehicle movement has resumed on the Stepantsminda - Larsi section of the international Mtskheta – Stepantsminda - Larsi highway.

“Traffic is now open between km 124 and km 139 (Stepantsminda - Larsi). At km 135, near the Devdoraki - Amali Gorge, vehicles are allowed to pass through in a non-stop transit mode”, - reads the statement of Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Infrastructure.

The road had been temporarily closed yesterday due to the activation of a safety monitoring system triggered by heavy rainfall.
