Fire in Tsovati Gorge, the alpic zone of the Tusheti region has been extinguished.
According to the Emergency Situations Management Service, no casualties are reported in the fire.
The fire broke out in the gorge on Sunday, August 24. The Border Police helicopter, which dispatched firefighters and rescuers to the site, was involved in in the extinguishing efforts.
The fire extinguishing process also lasted several hours due to the difficult terrain.
