The Varketili metro station will reopen tomorrow, August 26, but due to ongoing rehabilitation works, the station will operate with a modified schedule. Unlike the standard schedule, the metro station will start working at 07:00 and end at 23:00.

As for other metro stations, they will operate as usual.

Besides, in order to ensure the rapid and smooth movement of passengers, the direction of the escalators will be changed, and passengers entering will use the left escalator instead of the right one, while passengers leaving the station will be able to leave the station using the right escalator.

The Varketili metro station ceased operation on July 12. The rehabilitation works were carried out on the cast iron supports of the inclined tunnel and the reinforced concrete arch of the lower platform.

The full rehabilitation of the aforementioned metro station will be completed by the end of this year.
