The Deputy Prime Minister/Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, Edmondo Cirielli.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing partnership between the two countries, as well as Georgia-EU relations and the importance of Italy’s support in this regard.

The parties underscored the significance of Georgia-EU relations and continued dialogue in the current geopolitical context. Particular emphasis was placed on Georgia’s role in enhancing connectivity and on the parties’ readiness to further deepen cooperation in this area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing close cooperation.
