Agenda of bilateral relations between Georgia and Uzbekistan was discussed at the meeting of Georgian President and his Uzbek counterpart.
Mikheil Kavelashvili and Shavkat Mirziyoyev highlighted the signing of a strategic partnership agreement, which is expected to elevate relations between Georgia and Uzbekistan to a new level.
The parties also focused on economic ties, prospects for the development of the Middle Corridor, and strengthening coordination within international formats. In this context, they highlighted the opportunities that the strategic partnership would create for both bilateral cooperation and enhanced connectivity between the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
As Mikheil Kavelashvili noted, Georgia viewed Uzbekistan as "a reliable partner and friendly country, united by mutual respect, shared interests, and a strong commitment to deepening cooperation".
