Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia hosted an official dinner in honor of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan who is paying a state visit to Georgia together with his delegation.

The Head of Government of Georgia underscored the significance of the first-ever visit to Georgia at the highest level, noting its importance for the further development of bilateral relations.

The guests traveled by the Tbilisi Funicular and enjoyed panoramic views of the capital. In honor of the visiting dignitary, the Tbilisi TV Tower was illuminated in the colors of the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is paying a two-day state visit to Georgia. As part of the visit, he is scheduled to hold both one-on-one and expanded meetings with Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia tomorrow. Following the meetings, the relevant institutions of the two countries will sign a number of memorandums of cooperation across various fields.
