Prime Minister of Georgia meets North Macedonia Assembly President

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Afrim Gashi, President of the Assembly of North Macedonia.

The meeting noted that the visit of the Assembly President to Georgia provides a good opportunity to exchange views on shared aspirations and to discuss ways of deepening bilateral cooperation.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of further strengthening political dialogue and sectoral ties between Georgia and the Republic of North Macedonia.

Attention was also focused on the productive cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries and on prospects for enhancing inter-parliamentary relations. The discussion also touched upon Georgia's role in the Black Sea region and its contribution to promoting regional connectivity and dialogue.

The meeting was attended by Maka Botchorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia along with Levan ZhorZholiani, Head of Government Administration.
