The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, attended an event dedicated to the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence at the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Marco Rubio congratulated attendees on Independence Day and emphasized the historical significance of celebrating this date in a festive setting together with friends and partners.

The reception was organized as part of the "America 250" project and reflects the spirit of unity and the values of freedom. The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Washington DC and representatives of the U.S. executive branch, specifically senior officials from the White House and the Department of State, including U.S. Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
