Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Davit Kiknadze, met with the Attaché of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to Georgia.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the existing successful cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, opportunities for further deepening partnership in the law enforcement field, information exchange mechanisms, as well as future joint projects and priority areas of cooperation.

The conversation also touched upon the issues of combating transnational organized crime, cybercrime, and other international challenges. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation and further strengthen the existing partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the Attaché of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to Georgia, on behalf of the FBI leadership, thanked Davit Kiknadze for many years of fruitful cooperation, professionalism, and significant contribution to international law enforcement cooperation, and handed him a corresponding letter of appreciation.
