Officers of Isani-Samgori Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a person with multiple previous convictions on charges of apartment burglary.

The investigation established that the accused person secretly entered a residential apartment in Tbilisi, where he illegally took possession of money and valuables, after which he fled the scene.

As a result of the operational measures and investigative actions carried out, law enforcement officers arrested the perpetrator of the crime as an accused person.

As a result of a search of the detainee's residence, the police seized some of the stolen items as evidence, as well as tools necessary for stealing.

The investigation is underway under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning the imprisonment for a term of up to 7 years.
