Officers of Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan wanted by Interpol under the red notice.

The detainee was wanted internationally by Interpol at the request of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of the investigative actions carried out, law enforcement officers detained the wanted person at Sarpi customs checkpoint.

Currently, extradition procedures provided for by law are underway against the detainee.
