Students of Kutaisi International University complete remote internship programme at the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency

Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation concluded between Kutaisi International University (KIU) and the Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA), six KIU students have successfully completed a dedicated remote internship programme at the Agency.

The training and practical course, tailored to a remote format, was developed by the Agency’s Training Research Centre and comprised theoretical modules adapted to the specifics of GCCA’s structural units, together with a mentoring system and practical assignment.

The students undertook an intensive internship in the respective departments, in accordance with an individual schedule prepared by the Centre.

The one-month programme ran from 31 July to 1 September. Through direct involvement in the Agency’s daily activities, the participants gained valuable practical experience. Representatives of the Agency commended the students’ motivation and their swift adaptation to the online working environment.

GCCA remains committed to offering practical remote internship opportunities to young people from the regions in the future.
