If Russian citizen Denis Kulanin does not leave the country voluntarily, the expulsion order will be enforced forcibly. Such a statement was issued today by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was conducting deportation proceedings against Denis Kulanin, a citizen of the Russian Federation, based on subparagraph “g” of part I, Article 51 of the Law “On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons”.

In accordance with paragraph II of Article 52 defined in the aforementioned Law, the Migration Department petitioned the Tbilisi City Court to deport Denis Kulanin from Georgia.

On September 4 of the current year, the Administrative Cases Board of the Tbilisi City Court issued an order to deport Denis Kulanin from Georgia.

In accordance with Article 54, Paragraph I of the aforementioned Law, the person was given a 7-day period to voluntarily leave the territory of Georgia in the direction of his own choice. If the person will fail to voluntarily leave the country within the specified period, the deportation order will be enforced in accordance with Article 57, Paragraph I of the Law “On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons”.

By court order, the person was banned from entering the country for a period of 5 years”, - reads the statement.
