A freight train on the experimental ferry was released from the Ilyichevsk port. The new route will pass Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan; it will be an alternative way, which allows Ukraine to take its cargo to the Eastern countries bypassing Russia.

The route includes the Black Sea and Caspian ferry knots. The ceremony with the other officials was attended by Mikheil Saakashvili.
