First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Giorgi Volski met with Vahagn Aleksanyan, newly elected Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia.

As co-chairs of the interparliamentary friendship groups, the parties discussed the development of the key areas of cooperation established over the years, as well as reviewed the situation and challenges in the region.

The meeting was attended by Tengiz Sharmanashvili, First Deputy Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Members of the Parliament of Armenia, and Ashot Smbatyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia.
