Mariam Kvrivishvili, Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, met with representatives of the Information and Communication Technology Companies Association of Georgia (ICTA).
The parties discussed ongoing processes, challenges, and existing opportunities in the field of digital technologies. They also reviewed issues related to state programs and initiatives aimed at supporting the development of the sector.
As noted during the meeting, the sector plays a significant role in the development of Georgia’s economy, and it is a priority for the state to continue supporting projects that will facilitate the sustainable growth of the sector, support international companies, strengthen innovative enterprises, and increase their competitiveness on an international scale.
Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Avtandil Kasradze, Chairman of the Georgia Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), also participated in the meeting.
