Spanish police arrested 7 people suspected of having links with the Islamist group. The special operation was conducted in the regions of Valencia and Alikante.

Suspects supplied terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria with money, computer equipment, explosives and weapons .

The detainees are ethnic Syrians, Jordanians and Moroccans but the majority of them are Spanish citizenship.

The special operation was carried out as a result of a two-year investigation. Last year, in Spain 102 people were arrested on suspicion of having links with the Islamist group.
