A series of bomb blasts rocked Syria. 140 people were killed in attacks, which took place in Damascus and Homs.

In Damascus four blasts rocked the predominantly-Shiite district of Sayyidah Zaynab, which is the mass pilgrimage destination for Shiite Muslims .

ISIS has taken responsibility for the attacks.
