Hundreds of protesters clashed with police in Turkey"s southeast city of Diyarbakir as they demonstrated to denounce round-the-clock curfew.

Protesters hurled stones at police who retaliated with tear gas and water cannon.

Enclosed by Roman city walls, Diyarbakir"s Sur district has been under round-the-clock curfew since December 2, 2015.
