In Kiev, Russia, participantsof the rally in support of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko moved to the Russian Embassy. They demanded unconditional release of Nadia Savchenko who had been arrested for the murder of journalists and threw eggs at the diplomatic mission building.

Kremlin handed a note of protest over the incident to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. In Moscow a protest rally was held in response.
