Ukrainian Hromadske TV  reported that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko proposed candidates to the Ukrainian Government for approval at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers, including Alexander Kvitashvili as Ukraine"s Health Minister.

Alexander Kvitashvili was the Minister of Health and Social Welfare during President Mikheil Saakashvili and later, the Rector of the Tbilisi State University.
