Europe will receive gas via Ukraine. The President of Russia dropped South Stream gas pipeline plan.  Vladimir Putin underlined that Russia has invested 4 billion dollars in the project already but they still don"t have the approval from Bulgaria  to start  constructions.

According to the plan if South Stream could be realized Russia would supply gas to Europe without crossing Ukraine.
