The "Green Fist" movement is protesting against replanting of century-old trees from from Adjara to Guriaand calls on the Environment Ministry to monitor the process. They will addresss with this demand the Ministry of Environment and Environment Protection Department of Adjara today.

According to them, in order to smoothly transport one hundred year old trees from the forest to the Central Highway and the s ea also special roads were paved which could damage the landscape.

According to them,it is planned to replant  tens of trees in the near future .
The "Green Fist" movement requires to prepare a detailed report on the threat to the environment as a result of such an intervention.
