Orthodox Church celebrates Epiphany

Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates the day of the Epiphany. It was one of 12 the Lord"s Day.

On this day in all the great temples, in honor of the baptism of Christ, the baptismal water will be blessed, and small bottles of the holy water will be given to parishioners to take home.

Catholicos-Patriarch with members of the Holy Synod will hold a prayer at the Holy Trinity Cathedral and conduct baptizing of children.
