Rally in Zugdidi-family members accuse doctors of the death of 19-year-old Shota Tsirdaia. They gathered at Zugdidi Referral Hospital today. The family members said that the patient was brought to the hospital on November 17 and was diagnosed with pneumonia, but the illness was not assessed properly, and he was released home.

In a few days the situation deteriorated and he was brought again to hospital, but they failed to save him.

The family alleges the doctors falsified medical records.

Accusations are rejected by Zugdidi Referral Hospital. Hospital officials say the patient received adequate treatment.
