Rustavi 2 has obtained a letter, probably written by Father Giorgi Mamaladze to the the Patriarch t. Authenticity of the letter has not beenconfirmed, but the document makes clear that the detained Father Giorgi Mamaladze wrote to the Patriarch about the problems which were unfolding inside and outside the Church.

According to the letter, Father Giorgi informed the Patriarch that the audit had revealed 5 million debt in the Patriarchate`s clinic which was accumulated through fraudulent schemes by unscrupulous management and the alleged criminal offenses were identified. The letter states that Giorgi Mamaladze was asked by Metropolitan Jacob not to pursue the question.

Father Giorgi also wrote about corruption and unfair actions in which the representatives of the Patriarchate and the government were involved .
