"The murder of Patriarch or any other high rank cleric was not planned. Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze was arrested on charges for the preparation of the murder of "one person"and not the Patriarch, "- writes the newspaper "The Resonance" on the basis of the information obtained from the prosecutor`s office.

The interview to the newspaper was given by the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor`s Office , Natia Sukhiashvili.

"The chief prosecutor at the briefing openly said that it was not the Patriarch," - states the prosecutor"s office and notes that they meant "one person from the Patriarch`s circle."

As Sukhiashvili explained, the information voiced at the briefing of the prosecutor`s office was misunderstood by politicians, community and religious leaders .
