Roman Gotsiridze, chairperson of the National Movement faction, explained the reasons for leaving the Constitutional Commission in Courier live.

According to him, none of the issues are improved in the new version of the constitution including the government"s initiatives on the electoral process.

"The main purpose of leaving the commission was to reveal the farce that is taking place in the work of the Commission. The government wanted to create an illusion that this document is based on consensus, which involves broad circles of society, "said Roman Gotsiridze.

Gotsiridze has raised a number of issues that the opposition can not reach agreement with the ruling party, including the rules of electing the president, the undistributed mandates and the restriction of the president`s powers.
