Tornike Kacharava`s lawyer will appeal the decision of the first instance Court at the Appeal Court today. The defense does not agree with Tornike Kacharava`s pretrial detention and demands release on 20,000 GEL bail.

The Prosecutor"s Office has accused a friend of thepresident`s daughter of buying and keeping of a large amount of drugs.

According to the investigation, Kacharava had one gram of buprenophine in the shoes.

"As the accused claims, he has not seen drugs at all. Hence, he did not see the fact of placing it and calls it absurd. Unfortunately, court practice has thus been established that, in the case of a particularly grave crime, usually, only a prison custodial measure is used. Naturally, we will appeal against this decision, "- lawyer Irma Chkadua said.
