Estonia expelled from the country two Russian diplomats. The Estonian Foreign Ministry handed a note to Andrey Suragayev, Consul, Dimitri Kazanov, the Consul General of the Russian Federation, according to which they should leave Estonia.

The information was spread by local and western media based on the statement of the press secretary of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, Sandra Kamilova.
According to the media, the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry confirmed the information about the expulsion of Russian diplomats but did not comment on the facty.

The Russian Embassy does not comment on the incident either. It is not clear how soon the diplomats should leave the country.

The media writes about the reasons for their expulsion, that such decisions are usually related to espionage.
