Members of "Birja Mafia" group may be released from pre-trial detention

The Prosecutor`s Office of Tbilisi launched investigation into the case of Birja Mafia rappers, Giorgi Keburia and Mikheil Mgaloblishvili. This might be the basis for changing the preventive measures for the detained musicians and releasing them from pre-trial detention.

The defendants informed on the details of their arrest the Prosecutor`s representative in the Gldani Facility No. 8 and once again stated that the police illegally detained them and made them sign the testimony.

The rallyin support of the group members was held in front of the parliament yesterday. After the demonstration, a special appeal was released by the vice- Prime Minister Kakhi Kaladze.
