From three components, which the Venice Commission considers to be a restriction of parliamentary elections, the ruling party is going to change its position only in one case. Despite the European experts` conclusions, the barrier is not decreased and the ban on the blocks will not be canceled.

Non-parliamentary opposition speaks openly about the threat of one-party dictatorship. The version of the Constitution which is being prepared by the "Georgian Dream" rules out the possibility of multi-party parliament.

The opposition thinks that the main message of the Venice Commission is to reach e consensus on the Constitution. The package of amendments, which the government prepares for discussion in parliament, is unacceptable for the opposition.
