The President of Georgia has discussed Russia-Georgian relations in Poland. Giorgi Margvelashvili took part in an open discussion with the Presidents of Poland and Macedonia.

The President spoke about the challenges facing Europe and EU enlargement issues.

"Russia punishes us for our Euro-Atlantic aspirations. This happened in 2008 by forceful occupation of our territories. Georgia strives to its historical family Europe , since restoration of its independence , But there is a tendency that Georgia"s similar steps are followed by a strict reaction from Russia. Russia"s current policy does not bring anything good for Russia or its neighbors. For Russia, strong EU member neighbor will be more profitable., "Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
