Meeting of Georgia-Azerbaijan-Turkey Tripartite Foreign Ministerial Meeting was held in Baku. Ministers paid special attention to the issues of implementation of common transit and energy projects.
The focus was on the implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and on the projects of the Southern Energy Corridor. Discussions focused on the conflicts and challenges in the region.
"We have discussed a lot of projects, including energy and transport sectors. I want to point out that all these projects are not only in the interests of the three states but of the broader interest in the global perspective. We are cooperating and intend to continue to work on successful implementation of these projects that are aligned with the stability and development of the region, "- Mikheil Janelidze, the Georgian Foreign Minister said.
