"Georgian Dream" intends to violate the moratorium on sale of the land. Several MPs addressed the Parliament with an initiative, according to which, in some cases the government will be able to alienate the land for foreigners. The Cabinet of Ministers will use this right untill the enactment of the constitutional amendments.

The initiative has already been criticized by the opposition. The minority thinks that giving the right to choose whom to allow the purchase of the land to government will be the source of corruption..
