Experts react to the detention and possible extradition of the third president of Georgia . Analysts say that the detention of Mikheil Saakashvili will badly effect the international image of Georgia.

According to them, the detention of Mikheil Saakashvili might create serious problems on the way to the Euro-Atlantic integration.

"Problems will start if Saakashvili will really be extradited to Georgia and imprisoned. It will damage Georgia"s interests seriously,, "said Giorgi Rukhadze.

Experts advise the authorities to act not according to the narrow political, but in the national interests. Analysts hope at the same time that Ukraine will not extradite Mikheil Saakashvili to Georgia.
