Untied National Movement has named Grigol Vashadze, the Former Foreign Minister as the mayoral candidate in Kutaisi. Nika Melia, one of the party leaders has addressed the population at the presentation.

"There is no strong and successful Georgia without strong and unsuccessful Kutaisi. "Nika Melia said.

Grigol Vashadze, the Kutaisi mayoral candidate that the pre-election campaign will be difficult because the government will try to falsify elections.

"Kutaisi is the pride of all Georgians. Caring for Kutaisi is the obligation of each of us. This will not be a simple election campaign, our opponent has an unlimited financial and administrative resource. Their actions before the elections show that the government has a willingness to rigg the process. We are not afraid, we will not let them to rig elections and steal votes,"- Vashadze said.
