A lawyer of the third president of Georgia does not exclude Mikheil Saakashvili"s extradition . As Beka Basilaia explains, there is an agreement between the Georgian and Ukrainian parties that Saakashvili should be handed over to the Georgian side.

However, human rights defenders recall the audio recordings released by Russian pranker, where the Interior Minister of Georgia states that the government does not want Mikheil Saakashvili to be extradited to Georgia.

"We remember recordings of the Minister Mgebrishvili, where he was urging Russian Pranker, who he thought was Ukraine"s Minister of Internal Affairs, not to extradate Mikheil saakashvili,saying that this was his and the PM Kvirikashvili"s request. Therefore announcements of the majority that Mikheil Saakashvili should be extradited to Georgia, are hypocrisy,"- said Beka Basilaia.
