According to Otar Siradze, a member of the UNM party , the sale of "Progress Bank" that belonged to Kakha Kaladze and Bidzina Ivanishvili to "TBC Bank" happened in suspicious circumstances.

According to the opposition, Kaladze gave his share in the bank to Bidzina Ivanishvili`s business partner, Ilia Gvarilov, who was suspected of money laundering and criminal activity, but n reality , the mayoral candidate continues to participate in the bank management.

Otar Siradze says that TBC Bank has purchased "Progress Bank" with non-profitable assets only because Bidzina Ivanishvili and Kakhi Kaladze had business interests  in the deal.
