"Alliance of Patriots" continue negotiations with occupant Russia. This time, Ada Marshania, Giorgi Lomia, Emzar Kvitsiani and party leader Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi are preparing for talks with the Moscow Duma and Federation Council.
The main issues of the negotiations will be unchanged, the Alliance plans to revise the law on Occupation and change the format of cooperation with NATO.
Patriots will hold negotiations in the Russian State Duma on October 2 with Vladimir Putin"s " United Russia" and members of the Communist Party. It is not excluded that the meeting with the deputies of the Duma will also include the members of the Federation Council.
The opposition think "Georgian Dream" is using the "Alliance of Patriots" for cooperating with Russia.
In the parliamentary majority they think that this visit is part of the party`s pre-election campaign.
The non-parliamentary opposition thinks that MPs" visits to Moscow and negotiations are alarming, according to Tamar Kordzaia, political secretary of the Republican Party, the Georgian Dream should take effective steps.
Chairman of "Free Democrats" Shalva Shavgulidze considers that the ruling party should be able to protect the country from the Russian politic and for this reason the amendments to the country`s law should be introduces in order not to provide new leverages to the occupant.
Alliance of Patriots will hold a second five-day visit to Moscow in early October. Members of the party have already announced that the visit will be held by the deputies of the Russian State Duma.
