"Every political party has realized one principle and essential necessity - in order to come to consensus , we should all compromise on something," -President Giorgi Margvelashvili made this statement during a special briefing on constitutional amendments.

He noted that while negotiating the constitutional amendments proposed by the Georgian Dream with the opposition parties, it was possible to achieve the consent of all parties on important issues. He noted that this is an important factor, because each party is different from the point of view of values and approaches

"We have agreed on the most important topics , these are electoral systems, as well as the rule of electing of the parliament and the president. We also agreed on the reform of the judiciary and agreed to strengthen the supervisory function of the Parliament and agreed on security issues and the issue of the Security Council, "-Giorgi Margvelashvili said.

He said that all political parties agreed on the above mentioned issues.
